Service Charges

Revised service charges w.e.f. 1st January, 2011 are as follows:

Minimum Balance : Rs 50/-

Charges for non maintenance thereof : Nil

Saving Bank Accounts with Cheque facility

Minimum Balance : Rs.1000/-

Charges for non maintenance thereof : Rs.50.00 + Service Tax per month

Saving Bank Accounts without Cheque facility

Minimum Balance : a) For Rural centres - Rs.250/- b) For Other centres – Rs 500/-

Charges for non maintenance thereof : Rs 50.00 + Service Tax per month

Other savings bank account facilities

Issue of Duplicate Statement : Rs. 10/- per sheet

Issue of loose cheque leaves : No Charge

Issue of duplicate pass book: A duplicate Passbook starting from the latest entry will be issued on payment of Rs.10/-.Earlier entries will be provided by charging Rs10/ per page + Service Tax

Mode of calculation of minimum balance : Outstanding Balance

The number of transactions including ATM transactions in all Savings Bank accounts (excluding KVB Prestige, Rainbow Savings Account, Kalpatharu and Grama Jyothi Accounts) is limited to 90 transactions for each half year (excluding system based debits). Where a persons has more than one account mapped to a single Customer ID, the total number of debit transactions permitted in all such accounts put together will be limited to 90 per half year. When number of withdrawals is more than the maximum stipulated, a service charge of Rs.2/- (inclusive of service tax) will be levied for each transactions in excess of 90 transactions.

Metro,Urban and Semi-Urban branches - Rs.150/- p.m and Rural - Rs.70/- p.m. +applicable service taxes (Not applicable for dormant accounts)
