KVB introduces the smart new KVB DLite app, an easy way to open a Savings Bank Account from anywhere in three simple steps:

  • Step 1: Download the KVB DLite app from Google Playstore (or) iOS Appstore and enter the mobile number and email ID
  • Step 2: Enter and verify Aadhaar number and PAN
  • Step 3: Provide additional info to open the account

The account is immediately opened and the account number will be generated. This will be a low KYC account with limited access to services. In order to upgrade to a fully operational account, customers have to visit a KVB Branch and e-sign using bio-metric/iris.

The app is also an all-in-one upgraded Mobile Banking one. Customers can use the app for a range of financial and non-financial transactions.


  • Enter their Customer ID and Mobile number for initial validation.
  • Once validated, Bank’s OTP will be triggered to the registered mobile number with the Bank.
  • Once OTP is verified, you will be prompted to choose any one of the below mentioned secondary authentication method
  • i. Debit Card + PIN
  • ii. Aadhaar Number
  • Debit Card + PIN: You will be prompted to enter your debit card along with debit card PIN. Card + PIN validation will be done at this stage.
  • Aadhaar Number: You will be prompted to enter your Customer ID and Aadhaar number. Once validated, Aadhaar OTP will be triggered and sent to Aadhaar registered mobile number by UIDAI.
  • Once any of the above secondary authentication is method is validated, you can set your Login PIN and mPIN.

TNEB Payment:

Now, get more out of your mobile phone. KVB now offers TNEB Bill Payment through KVB DLite application .All KVB Customers of Tamilnadu can now remit their TNEB Bill Payment through KVB DLite application .This can be done through the following steps.

  • Download KVB DLite application in your registered mobile phone and login using your credentials.
  • Select "Bill Pay" from main menu
  • Select "TNEB" from top menu bar.
  • Select the region from the list.
  • Enter TNEB Consumer Number and Click FETCH BILL.
  • The request will be processed and the bill amount will be displayed in the next screen.
  • Confirm the information displayed on the screen and click Submit.
  • Enter your 4 digit mPIN to process the payment.
  • Confirmation message will be displayed after the successful transaction
  • Confirmation sms is also sent to the registered number
